Peppermint  Mentha piperita
Peppermint is believed to be a cross between spearmint and watermint.

Useful in calming those with emotional imbalances.

Soothes menstrual cramps.

Use as a mouthwash as a preventative against gingivitis.

To use medicinally, add 2 tablespoons fresh leaves to hot water and steep for 5 minutes.

Use externally for headaches, neuralgia and muscles pains.

Use 8 drops of essential oil mixed with olive oil or almond oil to form a massage oil.

Add drops of peppermint oil to a bowl of hot water and breathe in the steam to fight congestion.

Native to Europe where it has been used medicinally for thousands of years.
