Spice Islands Marinade

1 teaspoon coriander
1/2 teaspoon sriracha
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground clove
1 teaspoon ginger, grated
1 teaspoon cumin
4 garlic cloves, minced
3 tablespoons almonds
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 onion

Blend until it forms a smooth paste. Stores in airtight container in fridge for 2 weeks.

Use the marinade as is for a hot & spicy flavor. To calm the heat, mix with 1 can coconut milk, add 1 tablespoon of the marinade at a time until you find a heat level you enjoy. The hotter you go the healthier this spice mixture will be for your body.

For a sauce, heat 2 tablespoons sesame or peanut oil in a sauce pan. Add 1 tablespoon of mixture to pan and 1 can of coconut milk. Simmer till thick. Mix in 3 cups chopped vegetables, tofu, tempeh or fish.
