Swiss Chard and Chickpeas
 
Ingredients

2 pounds Swiss Chard, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can of chickpeas, drained
2 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped
juice of lemon, reserve lemon zest
oil
red chili flakes or sriracha to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Saute chard, onion and garlic over medium to low heat until soft. Add chickpeas, lemon juice, lemon zest and oregano. Toss until warm. Add chili peppers to taste.

This is a twist on a traditional Armenian dish, for a more authentic flavor leave out the lemon and substitute a chopped tomato.
